Re: GDO2 - Update
... and I have added them to the project. Only have to scan the dial and post that.

PS - Make that SIX coils. Just added 58 MHz to 152 MHz (I can't sleep!).
Works a treat

GDO2 - Update
Hello once more,
It is interesting that just two resistors, two capacitors and a FET can give me so much fun-time on the workbench. It's only a simple little oscillator!
I have been experimenting with the oscillator layout and I am presently working (or is that "playing"?) with the coils.
I now have five different coils and the GDO is extended from 2.9 MHz to 72 MHz. It also works well as an FM transmitter but at the moment I am using my Spectrum Analyser (with Zero-span) with headphones to demodulate it. All the coils so far are now documented on the homepages, and I will add more as and when I complete them.
Another unexpected bonus was the frequency vs coil-winding. I tried to duplicate the coils and the tuning/calibration was perfect :-) So if you think of making one for yourself then you wil be able to use my finished dial file, when it is published.
Ok, then have a load of fun.

(PS - the "fun with Mothercare" trick does not work anymore. They have changed the frequency in the shops :-( )
