Certainly "worth a punt" as we say in England!

How can they be so cheap?  I bought 100 BC549B transistors a few months back for 2 USD, tested all of them, all seem fine.  The only problem was that they were advertised as BC549C, and I got BC549B - hardly an issue for what I wanted them for.

I shall buy some and we shall see Smile  Thanks for pointing this out!

I have already (reasonably fast shipping) received my two lots, and a blind test of 20 pcs out of the 200's made me confident that most of them are probably good.
