Posting links to pictures on this forum - an easy and safe way
Here is a little tip,
If you want to post a picture in your message in this forum, then you really need to place the picture somewhere on the web, then link to the URL of the picture.
There is another way, say you want to post this picture:
No problem, take your JPEG picture and post it in a dummy message on Twitter,like this:
Now click the picture to view it, right-click and choose "save image link".
Now you can insert the link to the Twitter picture URL in your forum message, using the "insert image" button.
Try it, it is quick and easy. The only disadvantage is that your picture is public on Twitter, but you can probably disguise a drawing in text by calling it a 5G detector, time-machine or alien communicator.
Many of these so-called "Picture hosting" sites have bad certificates or can include malware. Twitter is more safe but public
I know that the "Host an image" button on this server can be rejected by certain companies who are ultra-kinky about IT security.
