I am talking about your superhetrodyne radio with ZN414 an two IF transformer.
I think what our PCB is for a different receiver with ZN416, and also different HF/input stage

Hi Per,
Yes, the PCB is quite different. the ZN416 is an 8-pin DIL package but the ZN414 is a 3-leg device.
It should not be too difficult to use the ZN416 board, but if you fit a DIL IC socket then you can probably put the ZN414 in the correct holes. There is no 20dB amplifier there so you may need to fit a link from the output of the 414 to the connector that should be the output of the 20dB amp.
I have never tried this and I don't know if it works. Just a suggestion.
If it does work then the 414 will be less sensitive than the 416.

Re: ZN414 radio IC
Hello Wille Per (not sure which is the forename)
The ZN414 receiver was only ever built as a rats-nest. the PCB in the picture uses a ZN416, which is an 8-pin DIL chip.
I think I have a PCB for the ZN416, but not for the ZN414. That PCB was in the days I drew my PCBs on film with drafting pens, so if I still have it then it will be a scan.
The PCB is for the 27MHz R/C receiver and has the oscillator and RF stages, together with the picture #2 as shown in http://85.226.187.247/use/rc-prop.htm.
If you have an original ZN414 or MK484 then there are only two resistors, one cap and a tuned circuit. Or were you asking for the superhet circuit using the 414 as an IF?

ZN414 radio IC
Sir
I have som ZN414 i AM think about building SM0VPO ZN414 radio IC.
But dere seems to be som discrepencies between the Circiut diagram and the PCB.
Is it possible to upload a PCB corresponding to the circiut diagram?
thanks
