It already has a base modulation. Feed it with LM386 for 80 to 85% mod.

Harry, I was looking at the schematic for your simple CW/AM transmitter, here

now, willing to add a modulator, did you consider an idea like the one shown here

http://www.qrp.gr/keymod/

that is, using a voltage regulator (like the LM317 shown in the above circuit) as the modulator ?

It could result in a pretty compact and nice transmitter Smile !!
