cw transmitter Empty cw transmitter

Hi
I made  40m/80m 6Watts  CW transmitter It worked fine .the socillator  used FET stage  followed by FET  buffer stage (I used howes CVF80 buffer stage).the output of the oscillator connected through capacitor to pin 6 of NE602 .
what I found is ,when I press the key the frequency counter changed the frequency above the set frequency to about 6KHz on 40m and 1KHz on 80m (I mean there is a difference in frequency before and after I press the key).the oscilloscope showed me a bit of distortion.the ground of the PCB is good.any help please
