Proposed 1W PN2222A based FM AMP
Hello Harry,
The design is still on paper. It looks good to you?
15 parallel PN2222A each with a standing current of 20ma.
I am expecting an output power of 1W at 99MHz with 150mW to 250mW of input power.
I hope it will work. Any other suggestions you would like to give?
My calculation tells me an input impedance of 0.1ohm is going to be presented to the input matching network.
(250mhz / 100mhz * 26) / current 45ma
= 1.4ohm per transistor
1.4ohm /15 transistors = 1/10 of an ohm.
My calculations are correct? Am I missing anything here?
