I always get a lot of fun with home-made things. I probably get more fun out of the building and testing that actual using.

Thank you for sharing the photographs with us. It looks a really interesting project. Do you have a circuit diagram for it?

I notice it used the old FT243 crystals. I loved those. Used to disassemble them, re-grind and then re-use them.

While clearing out my shed I came across this build from about 10 years ago. It was part of a project with a separate solid state receiver controlled by the tx for muting and antenna switching. I am glad I salvaged it and hope to be QRV again with it before too long.
